This lecture examines the relevance of 100 year old concepts of development and the psychoanalytic models they authenticate. Using the lens of contemporary psychoanalytic theory and developmental research, the presenter will discuss which constructs remain germane and which require a change of terminology in the theories of Freud, Melanie Klein, Winnicott, and Anna Freud.
